Apparently, every government wants to leave a legacy that will be changed and erased by the next government ─ and this is the case of Ghana Education Service introducing new school uniforms for Junior High School students.
This is the same government that couldn’t finance the printing of examination questions for schools and instructed teachers to write questions on blackboards.
According to the Director-General of the Ghana Education Service, Professor Kwasi Opoku Amankwa who announced the introduction of the new school uniforms at a press conference in Accra, students will start wearing the uniforms from the next academic year 2019/2020.
Aside from introducing the new school uniforms for Junior High School students, a new curriculum is also expected to come into force from September 2019.
