The boss of Sarkcess Music and SarkNation, Michael Owusu Addo widely known as Sarkodie has hailed his fans (SarkNation) for their support ever since he hit the limelight.

According to Sarkodie in a Facebook post, he won the 2012 “Best International Act: Africa” at the Black Entertainment Awards (BET) as a result of the massive support from his SarkNatives.

Sarkodie revealed in the post that Representatives at BET told him without mincing words that even though he deserved the award but they had to give him the award because of his fans (SarkNation) because they are loud.

I remember one huge artist in Nigeria (probably the biggest) tell me about the connection I have with my followers years ago and at first i thought it was normal but I look around and realized NO!! The vibe is different !!! And we learnt from nobody we just started it ❤️
Reps at BET told me straight to my face “You def deserve the award but we actually had to give it to you cos of your fans” They Loooooud!!!!They part of my story so they have the right to feel entitled.You can only survive this long if you got yourself a SarkNation.
