This is weird but according to this Nigerian lady with the username on Twitter, Chioma, her bride price will be paid into her bank account and her reason is simple.
Chioma, a Microbiologist, in a tweet explained that her bride price will be paid into her bank account and not to family members or uncles because when she was suffering in the relationship, there was no uncle or family member around to console her.
Chioma tweeted; “My bride price will be paid to my bank account, because my uncles were not there when the relationship was showing me pepper”.

Her tweet has generated a lot of reactions on Twitter and whilst some are backing her others who think traditions shouldn’t be broken or changed have disagreed with her.
