Weddings have and would always be a big deal— from proposing to rehearsals dinners to choosing gowns and suits, bridal train, best men, cakes, venue and even the gossips about whether the bride-to-be is deserving of the husband to be. It all details the main event out.
One other thing that highlights weddings in recent times is the pre-wedding photoshoots and bridal shower coupled with the bachelor party which is not as loud as the bridal shower. It has become so prevalent that a wedding is almost deemed not a wedding until it passes through all these channels.
The truth is, it is not relevant. Lots of people feel it wastes so much time, money goes into it and in the end, contributes less or close to nothing to the general growth and goodness of the main event. One person who shares in these thoughts is TV host Maame Yeboah Asiedu. She says it is useless.
