The father of Emiliano Sala, the Cardiff City footballer who died in a plane crash earlier this year, has unfortunately followed his son into the afterlife.

Horacio Sala died of a cardiac arrest earlier today, April 26th, in the town of Progreso in Argentina.

The 58-year-old died just three months after the death of his son Emiliano, a professional football player. Sala had just joined Cardiff City football club from French club Nantes when he died in a plane crash whilst returning to Wales from France.
