Many actors and actresses in Ghana have a huge problem, which is living outside their means simply in the quest to keep on slaying on social media for likes and attention.
Kumawood actor Kwaku Manu touched on that problem in a video we’ve seen circulating online, but he places the blame for that on the media.
According to him, due to actors attending numerous premieres and red carpet events where they know they would be asked ‘who are you wearing?’, they buy clothes from boutiques on credit or rent such clothes, simply to be able to appear in different outfits every time so they are not mocked for repeating outfits.
Manu said the fault lies with bloggers always following them and checking their outfits and certainly not them not learning to live within their means.
Most of these actresses love attending these premiers and taking photos to post online later for likes and comments. They are surely complicit in creating these fake lifestyles posted on social media which makes everyone else feel inadequate when in real life they’re probably struggling just as much as everyone else.
