Ghanaian movie producer and director and a writer, Socrate Safo has stated that it’s better to invest in a mobile phone business than spending a pesewa on a Ghanaian artiste who may ungratefully turn to rain insults on you.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty, Socrates explained that artistes may arrogantly turn to rain insult or be an ingrate when he/she did not reach their expectations.
He added that most Ghanaian musicians when they are booked for shows and show flops due to rainfall or any other reason, the artiste will take the exact money he/she charged for the show without considering the event organizers.
Asked whether he has any regrets in stating this, the writer kept on his words that he has no regrets and he couldn’t even say more.
