Shatta Wale and Sarkodie’s friendship was one in a million. They were like brothers who did everything together in peace and love until they shocked Ghanaians one day with kinds of beef.
Initially, we thought their beef was just another strategy of adding spices to the Ghanaian entertainment industry, a publicity stunt for that matter until Sarkodie landed on Shatta Wale with a killer diss track, “My Advise”.
Shatta Wale has come out to disclose in an interview with George Quaye what destroyed their friendship. According to Shatta Wale, it all started somewhere last year when the two of them were billed to perform at the Glo Music Festival where they agreed to charge $150,000 but Sarkodie ‘Nicodemusly’ sneaked and charged Ghc120,000.

“Sarkodie behaves so hypocritically, he doesn’t want to come out and say the problem but he is suffering. My problem with Sarkodie is about the Glo show organised last year. We were both billed for the show and we agreed to charge $150,000 but Sarkodie betrayed me and charged 120,000 cedis.”
“I confronted Sarkodie and told him that I will go and radio and let everyone know that he is leaving a poor life but doesn’t want anyone to know”, he revealed.
