Arguably the dancehall king, Samini says he has always known what he would become in the future and how successful and famous he would be so he asked his friend whilst in school to take pictures of him.

He says growing up, his parents especially his father never shared in his dreams of doing music. His dad wanted him to become a lawyer yet he defied him, worked hard and now he is here— all famous and known. The Linda hitmaker made this revelation whilst speaking on the topic; ‘Why is it that some parents do not support children who choose a career in music, entertainment in general?’
“Anybody that went to school with me, I told them to take pictures with me because I knew where I was going. I knew I was going to be big,” he said.
