The news of actor Chris Attoh’s wife, Bettie Jenifer being murdered gruesomely while leaving her office in Maryland, United States on Saturday, May 11, 2019, came as a shock to Ghanaians.
According to the Maryland Police Department, Bettie Jenifer was chased around by a gunman who shot at her until a bullet got her down ─ killing her in the process.
The description of the gunman in the media release of the Maryland Police Department ─ “a black male with a thin build and black hair” brought about conspiracy theories that Chris may have had a hand in the death of his wife ─ backing it with his deletion of wife’s photos from his Instagram page a few days before the sad incident.
Well, there is a new twist to the murder of Bettie Jenifer and in the detailed report by Nigerian popular news portal BellaNaija, the late Bettie Jenifer was still married to a drug lord, Kendrick Jenifer aka ‘Pretty Ricky’ who’s currently serving 20 years in prison for running a drug distribution ring.

“Bettie was married to one Kendrick Jenifer a/k/a “Ricky Jenifer,” “James Howard Collier, Jr.” and “Rick,” a drug kingpin in Maryland who was sentenced to 20 years in prison for running a drug distribution ring, a report by Fox Baltimore said.
Kendrick had in 2015, pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute cocaine, according to documents on the US Department of Justice website.
Kendrick filed for divorce from Bettie on April 9th, 2019. (Details here).
