Kwesi Arthur’s ‘old man’ might not be happy with his son sporting dreadlocks because he’s a church elder, but the ‘Grind Day’ rapper has been stirring female loins with his shirtless body since time immemorial.
Arthur has been doing that since he came onto the scene and has now fully embraced it as his gimmick.
Speaking with 3Fm in a recent chat, Arthur revealed why he always takes off his shirt during performances.
Arthur admitted that his fans always feel electrified when he does that and it makes his performances be better received by the crowd.

“It is the vibe; like the energy around it is just crazy. So whenever I am performing, I just take off my shirt, and the reaction is crazy,” he said.
Arthur has quickly risen from obscurity to one of the most visible Ghanaian stars on the international stage after receiving a BET nomination. His rap style has earned him plaudits and there’s no question he’s headed for the very top of the industry.
