For an artist who claims to be so hardcore he doesn’t care what anyone thinks, Burna Boy seems to be letting criticism affect him too much.
The Nigerian dancehall star who aligns closest with Shatta Wale in Ghana, and who plays the arrogant ‘Gbee Naabu’ character perfectly in his country, has decided to run like hell from social media and into his mama’s arms.
Burna Boy recently attacked Tiwa Savage without mercy, as we reported, at the time news of her new record deal with Universal Music Group came out. He also recently slammed Mayorkun and when a fan hit back, he reacted angrily by announcing he’s leaving social media for good.
Burna Boy claims he’s leaving social media and his accounts would now be run by his team and would be used only for professional stuff like bookings, promos and releasing new music.
Like his good friend Shatta, Burna Boy can dish out the critiques and insults but can’t take it when it’s directed at him.
