The spate of activities to be held before the 20th anniversary VGMAs kicks off continues on Friday as Charterhouse hosts its ‘future of music business’ seminar.
The seminar, which would bring together music stakeholders to brainstorm the future of the industry, would be held at the Ridge Arena of the Alisa Hotel on May 17th, from 9:30am to 4pm.
The seminar would feature speakers from prestigious backgrounds in the music business brought together by Charterhouse.

The official description dubs it as a ‘one-day music seminar with top industry speakers on how to understand the dynamics of tomorrow’s Music Business today’.
The event would feature speakers from The Orchard (Sony Music), the MOBO Awards, MTV Base and others and would be moderated by Rudy Kwakye.
The Future of Music Business seminar joins the Experience Concert and the Nominees Jam as pre-VGMA events.
The 2019 VGMA awards comes off this Saturday, May 18th.
