The Greenbelt Police Department are continuing their investigation into the gruesome murder of U.S citizen Bettie Jenifer, the wife of Chris Attoh until her untimely demise last week.
Jenifer was gunned down by a gunman whilst returning from work last week.
Her death took on a more shocking note when it emerged she had still been married to a drug lord before meeting Chris and also marrying him as well.
That brought out theories that her drug lord husband could have had something to do with the murder.
However, police insist its too early to name a motive in the case and attribute it to revenge from her first husband.
Police spokesman George Matthews said they are still looking for the murderer, the suspect described as a black male, middle-aged with a thin build.
“We are working in conjunction with multiple agencies, including federal agencies, that are assisting us and making their resources available to us as well. The fact that this was in broad daylight in front of multiple witnesses, whoever did this it didn’t seem to matter to the person who committed this crime, so that in and of is extremely shocking,” Mathews added.
