A young man is in the grips of the Indonesian police after storming a mosque to vandalized their public address system.
The young man whose name is given as NS failed to control his anger as Tadarus Quran recitals has become incessant in the month of Ramadan.
On Sunday, around 3 am NS ambushed the congregation, wielding a machete, he scared and drove all the members out of the mosque and comfortably destroyed their public address system.
When he was arrested by police he explained he freaked out after losing sleep for several nights.
“We are still questioning the suspect,” Meulaboh Police Chief Budi Eka Putra said when asked by reporters about updates on the case yesterday.”
