Dancehall star Stonebwoy has set his sights on winning the big award at tonight’s VGMAs, the Artist of the Year.

According to Stonebwoy, he has done enough work during the year under review and sponsored enough vote-buying by his fans to ensure that he would comfortably go home with the big award on the night.

Stonebwoy recently held a voting party with fans during which they spend a whopping Ghc 50,000 on voting and he believes adding that to his hit songs and international collaborations during the year in review makes him the clear favourite for the award.

“I worked harder and more than enough in the year under review, therefore trust I will surely win on Saturday,” he said in a chat with Ghana Crusader.

“I will surely win the artiste of the year again this year because my work speaks for itself, not only the work. I have also invested hugely in voting and I believe the board and academy will also be fair enough to reward my hard work and tireless effort in 2018 till now with hits songs, performance and raising the flag of Ghana on international stages and making headlines in pages”. he added.

The 2019 VGMA Awards come off tonight, May 18th.
