The 20th edition VGMA currently going on has come to an abrupt halt following a commotion caused by Shatta Wale and his racuos fans.
Shatta Wale and his unhappy entourage rushed the stage after Stonebwoy was adjudged the Reggae/Dancehall Artist of the Year for the fifth consecutive year.
Stonebwoy held up five fingers to illustrate winning the award five consecutive times, and that apparently agitated Shatta Wale.
Wale and his team were seen moving towards the stage and a commotion broke out during which Stonebwoy reportedly pulled a gun and fired it.
The commotion has ground the show to a halt, albeit temporarily. It’s yet to be cleared whether the show would continue or it would be brought to a premature end.
