Shatta Wale, a self-acclaimed Dancehall artiste was on the night awarded with the ‘Highlife Song of the Year’ (My Level) and ‘Dancehall Song of the Year’ (Gringo).
Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale who won ‘Highlife Song of the Year’ is currently being trolled on social media with many asking why a Dancehall artiste was nominated in a Highlife category and even went ahead to win it?
Some have concluded that Shatta Wale isn’t a Dancehall artiste hence the decision by the Board and Academy of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards to put him in that category.
Well, Kwaw Kese who has always maintained that Shatta Wale isn’t a Dancehall artiste has trolled him on Twitter over his fight with his arch-rival, Stonebwoy.
Kwaw Kese tweeted; “I thought highlife artists are humble”.
