Actress Lydia Forson has waded into the controversy surrounding the 20th edition of Vodafone Ghana Music Award, happened over the weekends.
According to the actress, if luck had eluded them, we would have recorded a different story, but they ‘just got lucky’.
Reacting to the brawl that ensued between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale, Lydia Forson wrote;
“When people see a gun, their immediate reaction is to run, and when they’re confined to any space a stampede occurs and that’s usually how people get hurt,” she wrote.
“So many people could have been severely hurt; we got lucky this time,” Lydia Forson added.
Last Saturday’s VGMA ended in a commotion between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, and fans of both artists right at the Accra International Conference Centre where the event took place.
It happened when Stonebwoy won the Dancehall Artist Of The year award.
Shatta Wale and his entourage headed the stage as Stonebwoy was about to give his acceptance speech.
Fans intercepted while he was approaching and that resulted in a fight where Stonebwoy pulled a gun.
