Veteran Ghanaian musician, Samini has revealed that, he was very disappointed when Sarkodie won the Artist Of The Decade Award at the Vodafone Ghana Music Award, happened last Saturday, 18th May.
In an interview on Hitz FM, Samini noted that he has absolutely nothing against Sarkodie, but losing to him was so disappointing.
Artist Of The Decade Award title was created two years ago by Charterhouse to celebrate artistes who have sustained their relevancy for 10 years.
The first of its kind was won by Highlife legend, Kojo Antwi and the second one has been won by King Sark.
Sarkodie beat Samini, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Nacee, Efya, Becca, Okyeame Kwame, R2BEES, and No Tribe for the award.
