NKZ boss, Guru has been releasing hits upon hits songs ever since he came into the Ghanaian Music Industry, yet the rapper has never been award in Ghana.

As far as rap music in Ghana is a concern, Guru is without any doubt one of the best rappers Ghana has ever had. Having songs like Megye Me Samba”, “Me ba betia wo”, “Atonfo Nye Nyame”, “Me di me nsa awo Bonsom ani”, “Pooley Swag”, “Lapaz Toyota”, a song that remains popular even until today.

One of Guru’s Twitter followers, who appears to be very worried about the rapper’s inability to be recognized by awards schemes in Ghana asked him to disclose what he has done to these organizers for them to be treating him as an underground artiste.

“Dear @gurunkz what at all have you done most of the awards scheme in Ghana that they fail to recognize your hard work and creativity after countless hits? Is there something your fans should know cos I know ever since Lapaz Toyota you’ve been consistent for more than a decade,” she asked.
