Actor Majid Michel, who in recent times has become a fundamentalist preacher lecturing anyone who would listen about religion, has all of a sudden turned on religion, describing it as one of the evilest things known to mankind.

Majid shared a video to Instagram in which he unexpectedly criticized religion.

According to him, religion has perpetrated untold destruction on humanity throughout history, whether it is Christianity, Islam, Buddhism or what have you. He described religion as the biggest problem in the world.

Listening to Majid you would think he was an atheist, making points that founding editor of this blog, Chris-Vincent Agyapong Febiri and yours truly have made many times in our writings. Points that Christians have argued with us about numerous times.

Majid himself has described atheists with derogatory names many times yet with this critique of the ills of religion that he’s now admitting, he should tell us why anyone should join any religion as a means of salvation when that same religion is the biggest problem in the world?

Majid, of course, remains a ‘man of God’. He is probably telling everyone how bad religion is so he looks ‘cool’ and ‘woke’ whilst at the same time benefiting from religion himself.
