One of the most self-confessed ashawobrities in the industry, Xandy Kamel, has stated that she sees herself as a role model for most up and coming Ghanaian youth.
Kamel, who once took off her ‘pioto’ on live tv and who once said she cannot stop her ‘ashawobrity’ lifestyle, says her image has been tarnished publicly and that she’s nothing like how she’s portrayed.

Kamel, in a chat with Fante Quoo of Inside Prime Page, said Ghanaians have to empty their minds of what we think we know about her because that isn’t her actual behaviour.
She said she sees herself as a role model because she’s a philanthropist who carries out a lot of charity works.

Kamel revealed that she runs her own NGO which often carries out charity works which she said has brought happiness to many people all across the country.
According to her, because she does a lot of her good deeds off camera, people are not aware of that side of her and only judge her based on her ‘public’ side.
So controversial Xandy says she’s a role model, but her public behaviours indicate otherwise. Being a role model encompasses more than just one specific action of running a charity.
