Veteran Ghanaian music trio, Praye, have once again reiterated that they are back together and this time, they’re back together for good.
Ever since splitting up numerous years ago, the group have tried to reunite several times to no avail.
They manage to get together but then face numerous issues which inevitably break them up, but since reuniting at the 2018 VGMAs, they have managed to stay together since then without incident.
Moving forward, the group have promised Ghanaians that they are going to remain together no matter what.
Speaking on the ‘Late Nite Celebrity Show’, Praye said they have now accepted that one of them carrying out a solo project doesn’t mean the group doesn’t exist anymore.
’When you hear a song from ‘Praye Tintin’, it doesn’t mean we have gone our separate ways. It just means he is sweeping the compound, that is what ‘Praye Tintin’ is used for, while ‘Praye Honeho’ is used for sweeping the inner rooms. ‘Praye Tiatia’ is used for scrubbing the bathroom. So treat our individual projects as a small part of the bigger Praye picture,’’ Big J Cartel said on the show.
Since going solo has been their Achilles heel all this while, reaching the level of maturity to accept it as inevitable bodes quite well for their future.
