It’s been almost a year since the Ghanaian investive journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas exposed the then CAF Vice President and the Boss of GFA, Mr Kwesi Nyantekyi’s fraudulent a$$ that led to his arrest.
This time, it’s the CAF President himself, Mr Ahmad Ahmad, a Malagasy who has been arrested a few hours ago in the Capital of France, Paris.
According to the reports, the 59-year-old capture is in connection with a “Contract unilaterally broken by CAF with the German equipment manufacturer, Puma to engage with the company Technical Steel, based in La Seyne-Sur-Mer.”
The report also revealed that Mr Ahmad was arrested in Berri Hotel located in the Capital of France, Paris early Thursday morning around 8:30 am.
More details on his arrest as the report added, Mr Ahmad signed off on a deal, which benefitted the company Technical Steel, with one of the company’s bosses said to have paid a total of €739 000 (R12,3 million) to the CAF president in order to get the deal sanctioned.
