Ghanaian business mogul also the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Honorable Kennedy Ohene Agyapong in an interview on Net2 TV asked the Regional House of Chiefs to sell two of our biggest castles to him.
According to the controversial politician, he is ready to take tourism in Ghana to a new level if the people of the Central region agree to sell the Cape Coast and the Elmina castles to him.

He added that instead of Ghanaians to make good use of these two castles which can bring tourists into our country, the castles have been neglected to collapse which is going against our tourist industry.
He, therefore, asked the chiefs to sell the castles to him and see if he will not expand them to the benefits of people in the central region.
” I’m challenging the Regional House of Chiefs, people of central region and CEDECOM to sell to me both Cape Coast and Elmina Castles on just one condition, we will take pictures of the tunnel leading to the sea and then we will open up that tunnel for people to walk through it, we will put a ship or build a big restaurant on the sea, its simple, you write point of no return,’ he said in an interview with Net2 TV.
