Shatta Wale would finally get the chance to be crowned officially as a ‘dancehall king’ later today in Tamale.

Wale, who is expected in Northern Ghana today ahead of his ‘Storm Reign’ concert, is also expected to be enskinned as a chief by the Chief of Tamale.

According to tamaleonline, the ceremony is expected to be held at the  Dakpema Palace at 1400 GMT today.

Wale would be named as the ‘dancehall Naa’ (dancehall chief), finally officially getting the title he has dumped on himself since he returned to the industry from his decade long break.

The ‘Storm Reign’ concert comes off at the Tamale Sports Stadium tomorrow and features among others, Maccasio.
