Ghana’s election according to our constitution is held every four years since 1992. Presidential and parliamentary elections are held alongside each other, generally on 7 December.
However, popular Ghanaian comic actor, Mikki Osei Berko aka Master Richard has asked Ghanaians to increase the four years tenure for the politicians.
According to Mikki Osei Berko, our politicians are unable to complete their assignment and it’s because the four years given to them is too short.
“I think the four years of tenure should be increased. The politicians don’t get the time to work and build for the betterment of the country,” he said in an interview.
