‘Only Morons Will Take this Man Seriously’ – Ghanaians React to Dag Heward-Mills’ ‘Hell’ Story and No One Is Buying the Sh*t He’s Selling

Whilst Ghanaians are willing to believe in their religious leaders and sometimes give them too much leeway to deceive them, there are some limits that you just cannot cross.

Bishop Dag Heward-Mills recently told a ‘kweku ananse’ story about another pastor taking a trip to hell to see the suffering there and then came back to preach about it.

According to him, the pastor saw people suffering very badly, including an atheist he knows who used to be his roommate in college. The suffering was so terrible that when he came back he came to warn everyone to convert to Christianity so they can avoid that terrible fate.

The story is so unbelievable and thankfully it seems I’m not the only one not buying it.

On social media, many Ghanaians are questioning the authenticity of the story. Dag Heward- Mills is being lambasted with one commenter going so far as to say only ‘morons’ would believe such a story.
