GhanaCelebrities.com reported a few days ago about former Ghanaian MP, Emmanuel Owuraku Amofa’s son, Daniel Desmond Amofa aka Etika, a well-known YouTube blogger who went missing in the US after posting a suicide-related video on his YouTube channel.

Sadly, the New York Police Department has confirmed the death of Desmond Amofa aka Etika after his body was discovered floating in the East River in Manhattan.

According to the NYPD, they found the following items in the bag of Desmond Amofa aka Etika; mobile phone, Nintendo Switch and a laptop that was believed to belong to the YouTube star. The laptop bag is thought to have contained a shirt, a pair of boxers, shorts, and headphones.

The NYPD after discovering the body of Desmond Amofa confirmed his death on their official Twitter handle;

“We regret to inform that Desmond Amofah aka Etika has been found deceased”.

It is also rumoured that Desmond Amofa aka Etika is the nephew of President Nana Akufo-Addo.
