The latest celebrity to kick against the idea is Sarkodie, who has been fighting for road safety in Ghana for a long time.

In his critique of the plan to spend $200m to build the new chamber, Sarkodie was livid and said spending such a sum when we’ve not fixed simple issues such as potholes on the motorway killing people shows exactly the kind of leaders we have.

“If All these potholes on the motorway and other roads in Ghana causing accidents can be overlooked to raise 200mil for a chamber then yall know the kinda people we choose to be in power,” Sarkodie tweeted.
