The cold icy hands of death can snatch any of us at any time, sometimes with zero warning.
That is simply the capricious nature of the beast called death.
However, in the Ghanaian context, no death, especially one as eventful as this, can be attributed to natural causes. People would say ‘African witches’ must surely have played a hand in something like this.

A Ghanaian guy who woke up on what was supposed to be the happiest day of his life instead found himself living his worst nightmare.
His bride-to-be, a lady named Pearl, died on the day of their engagement after suffering a short illness.
The couple were slated to have their engagement on Friday July 5th, followed by their wedding today, July 6th.
Instead, the bride died on the day of their engagement, ensuring their wedding day never came on.
A friend of Pearl posted the sad news on Facebook, writing: “…My heart is full of pain now.?? Today was supposed to be her engagement ceremony day and tomorrow her wedding but she passed away this morning after a short illness. ???????????? Let’s pray for the family.”
Such a tragic turn of events. Ghanaians would say her ‘fiefuor’ did it but that’s life and how it turns out sometimes. None of us are safe.
