I Don’t Believe in the ‘Holy Trinity’ and I Don’t Think God Is A Man – Okyeame Kwame Lays Down Some Unorthodox Views About God

Ghanaians generally claim they’re tolerant and hospitable but that only applies until you say something they really, really, dislike.

Then insults would rain on your head irrespective of the fact you’re entitled to your opinion.

The two topics which get Ghanaians pissed off fast if you don’t agree with them are religion and politics.

God is one person we don’t joke with at all and you can’t get insults to your person faster than when you deny his existence or ridicule his commands.

Okyeame Kwame might find himself in that soup after making some comments about God which are not necessarily part of the mainstream.

According to the ‘rap dacta’, he doesn’t believe God is a man as most Ghanaians do.

OK says he thinks God is asexual.

“I don’t believe that God is a man. I think he’s asexual. Reading around, I came to conclude that God is a he and has some elements of a she. God is not only a he,” he said.

Indeed some research into theology shows that the Jewish deity Yahweh, who Christians consider their God, might have feminine roots.

In a further comment, he said he does not believe in the trinity as well; the belief that God is three people in one.

”I don’t believe in the trinity. I think God has given us the ability to make our own choices. Some of my ideas with regards to religion are very radical.” the rapper said.

According to him, due to his unorthodox beliefs he won’t discuss religion with his kids for now but when they’re much grown.
