Just as we roasted our senior national team, Black Stars and its management team after we were kicked out from the AFCON by Tunisians, angry Nigerians on social media are also tearing their Super Eagles apart like nobody’s business after the Algerians defeated them in the Semi-Finals.
Some of them believe they were defeated because of the coach’s unprofessional changes he made at the last minute of the game.
Others also claim their green jersey is full of bad luck which has never given them any victory when they use it for any competition.
See some of their reactions on Twitter after their game.
@yuskid_yusuf That stupid coach cause it all by removing Chukwueze and bringing in Henry that cannot beat just one defender
@sheubaba2013 “Apeyi the goalkeeper could have joined the wall, it’s better we form a stronger wall than to have an ordinary basket @ the goal post. Nonsense.”
@Midas, “Akpeyi is daft! Formed a poor wall, stood behind the wall while standing on his heels. How is this guy a professional goalkeeper?
@AccurateOffisha, “Everybody was shouting don’t wear the green jersey yet you went ahead no problem, wear the same jersey and play Tunisia you will still lose the game bet me.”
The funniest comment was from @KVvox100, who tagged the Super Eagles as unskillful and Clawless Eagles. “93 minutes of hopelessness watching your clawless Eagles. No verve, no skill, nothing! Thank God the Fennecs exposed you all! At least we can now stop crawling with you through Egypt!”
