Beyoncé Was So Impressed with Shatta Wale She Dashed Him Her Hook to Perform – Bulldog Sheds More Light on What Went Down

Shatta Wale is king of the jungle at the moment, which is apt as his feature on Beyonce’s ‘Lion King’ album is what is causing all the fuss.

Shatta Wale’s former manager, Bulldog, has revealed what happened before the whole enterprise came about.

Bulldog, speaking on Joy Fm’s Super Morning Show earlier today (Wednesday), said they did not reach out to Beyoncé at all but it’s the American RnB queen whose team actually reached out to Wale.

Beyoncé, who’s working on an African themed album, called Wale to be part of the project.

“They reached out to our team through Leslie Quaynor, owner of Fantasy Dome and CEO of Fantasy Entertainment Ghana,” Bulldog told host Daniel Dadzie.

“I am sure Beyoncé’s team had scouted and listened wide, that’s how they came about their decision [to choose Wale],” he added.

Bulldog further went on to reveal that Wale’s work on Beyonce’s track was so good she even came back for more.

“When it came to us they wanted to do something special so after the initial work we had done on the song, a request came back to have us do more on a hook Beyoncé was initially supposed to do,” he said.

“…She said it would be better for him to do that hook.” Bulldog continued.
