The album has 6 of Nigeria’s musicians Yemi Alade, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Mr. Eazi, Tekno, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage with Shatta Wale representing Ghana. Wale and his fans have been walking on air since the news hit the internet but that is not why we are here today.

Kenyan actress and singer Victoria Kimani is not happy about any of this. In a Twitter post, she points out why Kenya and East Africa musicians were exempted from the whole list. According to her, the baffling bit is the fact that the movie was set and based in Kenya.

“As much as we celebrate with our fellow Africans …. The obvious exclusion of Kenyans / East Africans on this Soundtrack is Depressing…. The movie was based on KENYA.”

“You’ll coulda at least had Lupita or Barack on the outro since we don’t have artists in East Africa.”
