Former Ghanaian footballer-Stephen Appiah’s wife is said to be WILD—and sometimes paranoid. But this does not seem to have stopped Stephen Appiah from allegedly chopping down Vanessa Gyan and even having a child with her.

Who the heck is Vanessa Gyan at all?

Vanessa is a Ghanaian-American who made a little name within the Ghanaian media landscape as the daughter of the keyboardist of Osibisa-Kiki Gyan, and then had a low paid TV gig at eTV and briefly at GHONE.

Vanessa Gyan and Stephen Appiah

With her being on TV, she started eating from the side table of some popular industry persons—and we guess that’s when Stephen Appiah met her or let’s say when her “trap caught a bayla”.

More than three different sources have told us this week that, Vanessa Gyan has told friends, with one saying she told her directly, in New York, that Stephen Appiah is the father of her child.

Interestingly, while some of her former work colleagues have told us that it’s known by all her friends that Stephen Appiah is the father of her child—at least so she claims, another person close to the footballer stated that, Appiah has not really accepted any responsibility for that child as he allegedly says the sex was just once.

Message sent to Vanessa Gyan

When GhanaCelebrities.Com reached out to Vanessa Gyan to confirm or deny the hovering allegation that Stephen Appiah is the father of her child, she vanished into thin air, on Whatsapp, as if she is our contemporary Wukong from the Journey to the West.

Immediately GhanaCelebrities.Com’s Founding Editor-Chris-Vincent Agyapong messaged Vanessa about the above, she quickly changed her DP which featured her child.

Of course, the child resembles Appiah—dark and lovely, but that’s not the sort of final confirmation required on such matters.

Whatever it is, we hope the child knows the father. Girls do not joke these days with dishing out the pregnancy sauce…
