Rufftown Records’ female Artiste, Wendy Shay has revealed in an interview with Nana Ama McBrown that she was at the age of 5 when her father died.
According to her, after her father’s demise, things became tough for her mother as a single mother to care for them so the mum had no option than to send them to their grandmother so she could travel.
Narrating her story she said: “I was born here in Ghana but my father died early. After his death, living without him was like hell, so my mother had to leave the country for greener pastures…”
