The investigation into the murder of U.S based Ghanaian Nana Yaw Opoku, popularly known as Junior U.S, is proceeding smoothly with police carrying out 4 arrests so far.
The four suspects, the last of whom was arrested earlier this week, have each been charged with murder, robbery, criminal conspiracy and related offences.
Junior died a couple of months ago after suspected armed robbers, aided by some girls, invaded his house.
He was shot dead.
In the time since his death, police have arrested four suspects – 16-year-old Christina Zogar of Southwest Philadelphia, 20-year-old Tejan Sherif of Collingdale, 21-year-old Abdoulaye Doucoure of Old City and 22-year-old Alfred Bangor of Center City.
The late Junior was buried last month in a spectacle of a funeral which inexplicably was not attended by his ‘friend’, Shatta Wale.
