Funny Face and Emmanuel Adebayor have become quite close friends over the years, and every once in a while we hear about the incredibly rich footballer showering his Ghanaian friend with some sort of gift.
He once even gave him a blank cheque for his birthday, and Funny also reportedly named one of his kids after his friend – so their friendship has been pretty much established.
However, some people have alleged that they’re gay partners, apparently, and Funny Face was asked about it during a recent appearance on Accra Fm.
Host Nana Romeo asked him to respond to the allegation and Funny Face exploded in his face, calling him a shallow thinker for even thinking of asking that in the first place.
“It is never true and it will never be true. Adebayor has a wife, has a daughter, has a big family, so never,” the comic actor said.
He added: “In fact, the truth must be told. Any radio presenter who asks such funny questions…the truth is Romeo is my guy so I will speak my mind. You don’t think deep. I say this on record; we study human beings life.
“You are into showbiz; people say things to tarnish peoples image so for you to even ask that guy the same question then ‘it’s left with small’.”
