A son of legendary Ghanaian highlife singer J.A Adofo has called out Nana Boroo for being a thief and sampling his father’s music without permission.
In a video posted to social media, he blasts the ‘Aha y3 d3’ hitmaker for stealing from his father.
Boroo recently released a single doing quite well which is titled ‘Fine Boy’.
According to the son of J.A Adofo, the song is a ripoff of one of his father’s songs.
He called Boroo out for shamelessly stealing the song without credit just to make some cash and fame.
He played snippets of his father’s songs in juxtaposition with Boroo’s song to make his case.
Ghanaian singers are often at the end of such accusations due to difficulty in attributing inspirational influences.
