A Nigerian lady who has been trafficking ladies into Ghana to be used as prostitutes has been arrested in Tamale.

Known as the ‘Queen Mother of Prostitutes’, Chioma Sabina Abaraonye was arrested by the Ghana Immigration Service.

She allegedly has been ‘importing’ girls into Ghana to use as prostitutes. She promises them jobs in her multi million dollar mall and boutique (which doesn’t exist), but then turns them into prostitutes once they enter the country.

She has reportedly been charging these ladies Ghc 8,000 to be brought into the country, then when they arrive and are forcibly inserted into the trade, must pay her Ghc 100 daily.

“Each night we have to bring at least Ghc 100 otherwise, they will beat us”, one of the victims recounted.

Another of the victims said sometimes she has to sleep with over 10 men a night to raise that Ghc 100.

“When we came, the madam and her Ghanaian accomplice called Sof took our blood, fingernails, and pubic hair. And told us that now that they have those things from us, if anyone reveals the secret, they will make the person Mad.” she revealed.
