I’m Still Gonna Act Even if I Become An MP — John Dumelo Reveals

John Dumelo is running for Parliament in Ayawaso West Wuogon, on the ticket of his beloved NDC of course.

Hardly the first entertainer to enter politics, Dumelo has promised that becoming an MP cannot stop him from his first love, acting.

Speaking with New Day on TV3 Friday, John said becoming a politician doesn’t mean he’s going to stop acting.

“…There will be one or two times where I will still offer advice in the acting industry, maybe I can still do one or two [movies] because it is part of me,” he said.

“Certain careers you just don’t hang your boots, there is always an aspect of it that follows you in life,” Dumelo added.

The NDC parliamentary aspirant and father of one also promised that he would run a clean campaign and refrain from personal attacks and name-calling.
