The viral video of a female Kenyan MP being kicked out of Parliament for bringing her baby to work is an astute representation of a lot of what’s wrong with Africa, primarily being stuck in the 1st century AD.
In this day and age, there should be better ways to deal with such an issue; empowerment of women is a very important factor of any civilized society.

Yvonne Nelson has reacted to that viral video and it struck a personal chord with her.
According to Ryn maame, she lost a deal with a telecommunications giant because she was pregnant, making her quite distraught.
However, she says the experience made her stronger, adding motherhood is a gift and should be treated as such.
