Nigerian dancehall artiste Patoranking born Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie is telling his story. According to the father of one, he has always not had it any easier with one of his greatest regret being the fact that he could not complete school.

According to him, the hardship he suffered taught him to be wise and he feels anyone who has had to go through a phase of hardship should also be wise. He adds that he realized it takes not take just talent to be a success.
“Don’t get carried away with the hype, it takes much more to succeed and music is our next oil. I have learned that Talent is just 1% and it takes way more to make a start and maintain stardom. It has also taught me the importance of tunnel vision and the fact that I can’t please everyone.”
“There’s never regret, always a lesson. However, I have many wishes and one of them is that I got a chance to finish school. Anybody who has suffered in the past should be wise,” he said.
