Slave trade ended over centuries ago but anyone who visited the Cape Coast castle returned with tears running down his/her cheeks due to the signs of torture and brutality that can be seen in that dungeon.
American popular comedian, one of the descendants of African slaves who have been encouraged to come back to their roots, Steve Harvey visited the Cape Coast castle and he unsurprisingly cried uncontrollably.
After coming out of the dungeon, Steve took to his Insatgram handle and posted a video of himself with some Ghanaians with the caption;
“Leaving out of the Cape Coast Slave Castles there was a group of brothers waiting to meet me… They showed me so much love… Thank you for that welcome back”
