The money wasted on the Black Stars to go to Egypt and return empty-handed could have been put to much better use boosting tourism.
That’s the new idea proposed by A-Plus during a celebrity dinner held by the TPP (The People’s Project).
The Black Stars’ dismal Afcon campaign cost us $4.5m, as revealed after the tournament by the government.
According to A Plus, that money would have been put to better use if we had given it to Beyonce to come and visit Ghana with her team and promote the country through her numerous social media handles.
That would have brought the country more positive exposure and publicity instead of wasting the money on the Stars, A Plus said.
The TPP is a political movement founded by the comedian cum musician to topple the two political parties turning Ghana into hell – NDC and NPP.
