Ghanaian artiste these days will steal a song from their father’s in the music industry and will surely find some words to defend themselves.

Legendary high-life music sensation, Nana Kwame Ampadu is not happy with this as he has expressed bitterness during a recent interview on Joy News.

According to the Veteran musician, it’s not that easy for a musician to write songs just for someone to copy it for free all in the name taking inspirations.

He noted that budding artistes should first seek permission from them before they sample some of their words.

“When you are an artiste and you sample my songs without my knowledge, I’m right to take you to court for using my works without seeking permission.”

He continued, “It’s not easy to write songs, now you would just sample the songs and be making money off our sweats, it’s not cool at all. Young Artistes should seek permission from us, the Old Musicians before using our works,” Nana Kwame Ampadu noted on Joy News.
