Ebony had a lot of controversies surrounding her but none because she had problems relating to the media. Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng was actually pretty smart, articulate and whenever you listened to her you got the sense she knew what she’s talking about.
Wendy Shay, on the other hand, is always a disaster waiting to happen, especially when she’s put under pressure in an interview session.
We saw it with her MzGee fiasco when she couldn’t comprehend the simple concept of a follow up question and we’ve seen it again recently when she was asked a question about her net worth and did not have an answer ready, leading her to humiliate herself and her boss, Bullet.
Bullet has since been working hard to salvage his ‘cash cow’s’ reputation. He slammed Prince David Osei for calling Shay ‘shallow’ and organized a staged purchase of a car to show Wendy has more properties.
In another defence, he alleges that the entire interview showed something else but TV Africa edited it to make it more controversial because they’re a dead station looking to stay relevant.
“You go through a full interview session and it comes out edited to be promoted negatively just to gain traffic and attention,” Bullet complained.
What Wendy Shay needs is more training to be media savvy. She has potential but cannot keep displaying such ‘dumbness’ on national tv.
