The 2019 MTV Music Video Awards (VMAs) were held Monday night at the New Jersey Prudential Center in the United States.

Going into the awards, Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande had the most nominations and didn’t disappoint with significant award wins.

Janet Jackson also received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award and performed at the ceremony.
